About Tony
Tony Daise maintains a busy performance schedule, regularly appearing as a chamber, pit, and orchestral musician, while simultaneously pursuing a path for artistic excellence. He has been heard in venues such as Jorgensen Center for the Arts, Brookfield Theatre and Leith Griffin Recital Hall, which has led him to collaborations with artists such as Mike Eby, Ivan Stefanovic, and Luigi Polacari respectively. Most recently, Tony has presented and performed in over 50 concerts of core repertoire and has given four world premiers of compositions by composers such as Andre Mastriani.
As an pit musician, Tony has most recently wrapped up his first season with the Ohio Light Opera, where he served as both Concertmaster and a Section Violinist throughout the 50 - season show, playing comedic favorites from Me and My Girl to classics like The Sound of Music. In addition to his work with the Ohio Light Opera, Tony is a Section Violin I of the North Worcester Symphony Orchestra, and makes frequent appearances with various ensembles throughout the New York Tri-State and New England areas such as the Atlantic and Connecticut Symphony Orchestras, the latter being where Mr. Daise served as a Violin Fellow during the 2023/24 season. Mr. Daise uses performance as a means to uplift the arts community, specifically those from diverse backgrounds, with the aim of fostering a deeper appreciation for classical music among broader audiences.
